The Filter Disc (Part # A22302016) is a replacement part for Edwards EH Series mechanical booster pumps and QMB Series blowers . It fits the EH250, EH500, QMB250, and QMB500 models.

This filter is a solid disc made of filter material. It has no hole in the center . It sits inside the pump or blower assembly. Its job is to filter the air or oil that passes through certain parts of the pump. It traps small particles before they can cause damage .
The filter disc is a consumable part. Over time, it gets clogged with dirt and debris. When it gets clogged, it cannot filter properly. It may also restrict flow. Old, brittle filter material can tear and let dirt through.
