This is the gear end bearing carrier for Edwards EH series mechanical booster pumps. It is a metal housing that holds the bearings on the gear side of the pump. If you are rebuilding your EH booster, this is a critical part. OEM quality.

Booster pumps have two ends. There is the drive end where the motor connects. And then there is the gear end.
The gear end is where the timing gears live. These gears keep the two rotors in sync. They spin at high speeds. They need to be perfectly aligned.
The bearings that support the rotor shaft on the gear end do not just float in place. They sit inside a special housing. That housing is called the Gear End Bearing Carrier .
