This is an OEM replacement Gas Ballast Valve Seat for Edwards nXDS series dry scroll vacuum pumps This small component is a critical sealing element inside the gas ballast control assembly . It works with the control knob and O-rings to open and close the gas ballast port. It is a wear part that should be inspected and replaced during minor rebuild services .

Edwards nXDS6ir, nXDS10ir, nXDS15ir, nXDS20ir (recirculation ‘R’ versions)
This part is included in the Edwards nXDS Exhaust and Gas Ballast Kit (A735-01-803) which is used for minor rebuild services .
