This is the “QDP40 MOTOR GASKET.” It sits between the motor and the pump body. Its only job is to create a perfect seal. It keeps oil inside the pump where it belongs. It also keeps dirt and moisture out.

      Based on my research, this motor gasket (A27160001 / E0436) is used in the following Edwards dry pump models :

      • Edwards QDP40

      • Edwards iQDP40

      • Edwards DP40

      These are dry, oil-sealed vacuum pumps designed for clean and demanding applications. The QDP40 pumps are 3-phase motors (200-460V, 50/60 Hz) that can be air-cooled or water-cooled, with a pumping speed of 44-55 m³/h
