This is the Kinney Bearing Locknut N-11, Part# 054100. It is made specifically for the Kinney KT850C and KT850D rotary piston vacuum pumps . This locknut secures the bearing in place on the pump shaft. A tight locknut keeps your bearings from moving. That prevents damage to the shaft and the housing. This part is also included in Major Maintenance Kits for both the KT850C and KT850D .
