This is where the spider element saves the day. Made from special, durable polyurethane, it’s designed to flex slightly. It absorbs those vibrations and compensates for small alignment errors.
This protects the motor bearings and the pump’s internal mechanisms from excessive wear and tear. It’s a small part that prevents big, costly repairs.
