The Heart – GX Vanes (3 pieces)
These are the most important parts of your pump. The GX vanes (part# 722516054) are made from G11 fiberglass composite laminate with an epoxy resin binder . This material is very strong. It has high tensile strength. It does not soak up moisture. For standard industrial applications, GX vanes are a great choice .

Why three vanes?
The 0502B is a single-stage pump. It uses three vanes in the first stage. That is what this kit includes.

The Seals – Shaft Seals (4 pieces)
These stop oil from leaking out where the pump shaft comes out. All four are made of Viton rubber (part# 48703200) . Viton handles high heat and chemicals very well. The 0502B uses four shaft seals because it is a larger pump.

The Bearings

• Needle Bearings (2 pieces, part# 47300900) – these keep your pump spinning smoothly 

• Bearing Sleeves (2 pieces, part# 47201100 and 47201000) – these protect the shaft where the bearings ride

• Inlet ball valve (part# 73001800) – made of Viton, controls gas flow into the pump 

• Threaded taper pins (4 pieces, part# 43708000) – hold the pump housing together securely 

• Hex nuts (2 pieces, part# 42000700) – M8 size

• Oil sight glass (part# 83623) and sight glass assembly (part# 500015PP) – lets you see oil level and condition 

• Oil drain plug (part# 710000010) – nylon, 1/2 inch. Old plugs can crack and leak
