Filter Kit, Busch R5 1000B/1600B – Metal End Cap

Sixteen Exhaust Filters with Metal End Caps (503 mm length)
These are the main parts of this kit. Each filter is 503 mm long – that is about 20 inches. It has a strong metal end cap that lasts longer than plastic. Plastic end caps can become brittle over time. Heat and age make them crack. When they crack, your pump loses vacuum and oil can spray out. The metal end cap solves this problem. It is much stronger. It will not crack or break .

You might be surprised by the number – sixteen filters. That is correct. The 1000B and 1600B are very large pumps. They need sixteen exhaust filters to handle the massive airflow. This kit gives you all sixteen.

Two Oil Filters
Clean oil is the lifeblood of your vacuum pump. These oil filters (part# 53100500) remove dirt and tiny metal particles from the oil . Clean oil means your pump will last much longer.

Two Baffle Strainers
These special filters (part# 53704200) catch large particles before they enter the pump . They are an extra layer of protection for your pump’s internal parts.

All Necessary Gaskets
The kit includes all the gaskets you need for a complete filter change :

• Cylinder/exhaust box gasket (1 piece, part# 48013200) 

• Exhaust box cover gasket (2 pieces, part# 48013100)

• Valve housing/oil separator gasket (1 piece, part# 48025400)

• Oil sight glass gasket (1 piece, part# 48023100)

• Float valve cover gaskets (2 pieces)
