Here is how it works:

• Clean air enters the pumping chamber

The VTE series pumps have a built-in micro-fine filter on the inlet . That filter is this part. Clean air is especially important for dry-running pumps because there is no oil to trap dirt.

This filter fits three specific Rietschle dry-running rotary vane pump models :

• VTE 6

• VTE 8

• VTE 10

These are small pumps. They have pumping speeds of 6, 8, and 10 m³/h at 50 Hz . You will find them in labs, printing presses, packaging machines, and other light industrial applications.

This filter is also often used in the DTE series pumps (like DTE 6, DTE 8, DTE 10) . The DTE and VTE pumps are very similar. The filter fits both.
