This coalescing exhaust filter (Part #71064773) is made for Leybold Sogevac vacuum pumps. It removes oil mist and smoke particles from the pump’s exhaust air. The filter works by capturing tiny oil droplets and joining them together (coalescing). The captured oil then drains back to the pump to be used again. Clean air comes out. A direct replacement that keeps your work area clean and safe.

Vacuum pumps use oil to seal and lubricate their moving parts. As the pump runs, the oil gets hot and turns into a fine mist. This mist comes out of the pump’s exhaust. Without a filter, that oil mist goes right into the air in your room. You might see a blue or white haze. You might smell oil. This is not good for you or your equipment.
A coalescing exhaust filter solves this problem. It attaches to the exhaust port of your pump. The filter traps the oil mist before it can escape. The special filter media makes tiny oil droplets join together into larger drops. Those drops then drain back into the pump. Only clean air comes out.
