A minor kit (seal kit) only gives you O-rings and gaskets. That is fine for light maintenance .

But a major kit gives you everything. This is the full overhaul package. Part number 971423100.

This kit has three GX vanes . The vanes are the heart of a rotary vane pump. They slide in and out as the pump spins. They create the vacuum. Old vanes wear down and leak. New GX vanes restore full pumping speed .

The kit also includes:

• Both shaft seals – These stop oil from leaking out of the pump .

• Exhaust filter and spring – Keeps oil mist from leaving the pump .

• Gas ballast filter – Helps the pump handle water vapor .

• Valve plate and stop valve – Controls the flow of gas .

• Anti-suckback seal – Prevents oil from going back into your vacuum chamber when the pump stops .

• Oil sight glass – Lets you check oil level at a glance .

• All O-rings and gaskets – Every seal you need, in Viton rubber. Viton handles heat and chemicals very well .
