You will also find this exact O-ring included in the official Gasket Kit, Minor Kit, and Overhaul Kit for this pump model. So you know it is the right part for the job. This O-ring is made from a material called FKM. You might also hear it called Viton®. This material is much tougher than ordinary rubber. It is specially chosen for demanding vacuum pump applications.
