the gas ballast function on your pump is essential. This Plate Valve Assembly is the heart of that system.
Think of it as a smart, controlled air leak. During the pump’s cycle, this valve opens to let a small amount of air into the pumping chamber. This air mixes with the vapors you’re trying to remove. It raises their pressure just enough so they stay as a gas and get pushed out of the pump. This stops them from condensing into liquid inside your pump oil.

Over time, parts in this system wear out. This kit gives you everything you need to rebuild it.
