PRINTED GASKET CARTRIDGE RV

Based on multiple supplier listings, this gasket fits the following Edwards RV series pumps :

• Edwards RV3

• Edwards RV5

• Edwards RV8

• Edwards RV12

  This gasket is a one-time-use part. Once it has been compressed by the pump’s bolts, it cannot seal again if you take the pump apart. Here is why you must replace it:

  • It compresses: The gasket crushes slightly to form a seal. When you remove the bolts, it springs back but loses its sealing ability.

  • It sticks: The gasket material often sticks to the metal surfaces. Trying to clean it off damages the gasket.

  • It is cheap insurance: A new gasket costs very little compared to the labor of doing the job twice.
