Shaft Sealing ring, Becker, U Series, U4.165E, U4.165, Part# 90657400000

This is a shaft sealing ring (Part # 90657400000). This small ring fits around the rotating shaft where it enters the pump body. Its job is simple but very important. It keeps oil inside the pump and keeps air outside.The Seal & Gasket Kit for these pumps (Part# 54900026400) does NOT include this shaft seal . You have to buy it separately. If you are rebuilding your pump, do not forget to order this ring. Many mechanics learn this the hard way.This shaft seal (90657400000) is also included as part of the Major Overhaul Kit for the Becker U4.190E (Part# 33801800-E0), where two pieces are required . If you are doing a full pump rebuild, check whether buying the complete kit makes more sense for your needs. But if you only need the shaft seal, buying it separately works fine.
