It’s the -spec replacement, and it fits perfectly when you open up the pump head during a rebuild.
It sits inside the valve assembly on the top of your Leybold Trivac pump (D2A, D4A, and the AC versions).
When the pump is running, the rotor pushes gas out. This plate lifts up just enough to let the gas escape through the exhaust. Then it drops back down fast and seals tight so nothing comes back in.
If this plate gets bent, cracked, or worn out, you’ll notice weaker vacuum, louder running, or oil in the exhaust.
Thin steel valve plate for Leybold Trivac D2A and D4A vacuum pumps. Controls exhaust flow, helps seal the pump, and keeps performance strong.
