Leybold Trivac D8C or D16C pump with this Gas Ballast Rebuild Kit. This service kit includes all components required for a complete overhaul of the gas ballast valve assembly: a new gas ballast cap, stiffening disk, washers, valve plate assembly, retaining ring, springs, O-rings, and special gaskets .
The gas ballast valve allows a small amount of air to enter the pump chamber. This stops water vapor and other vapors from condensing inside the pump. If your pump handles wet gases or you notice condensation issues, rebuilding the gas ballast valve can restore performance .
