The Filter Element (Part # A22305043) is a replacement part for Edwards E1M40, E2M40, E1M80, and E2M80 rotary vane pumps . This is the internal filter element that goes inside the oil filter assembly on these larger pumps. It traps dirt, debris, and contaminants to keep your pump oil clean.

On the larger Edwards E1M40, E2M40, E1M80, and E2M80 pumps, the oil filter is a spin-on canister style filter, just like on a car . Inside that metal canister is a replaceable filter element. That is what this part is – the internal filter element .
As the pump runs, oil circulates through this filter element. The element traps tiny particles of dirt, dust, and wear debris. Clean oil then flows back into the pump.
