A Dowty Seal is a special type of washer. It has a rubber O-ring bonded to a metal outer ring. You use it under bolts or plugs. The Ballast Filter (Part # 25907200) is a replacement part for Edwards E1/E2M series rotary vane pumps. This small felt filter cleans the air that enters the pump through the gas ballast valve. It stops dust and dirt from getting into your pump oil. If you change your pump oil, you should change this filter at the same time. It fits E2M2, E2M5, E2M8, and E2M12 models .
