This element is the heart of the MF300 filter. It is made from epoxy impregnated glass fiber . This material is very good at catching tiny oil droplets.
Here is how it works:
Exhaust gas from your pump enters the MF300 filter.
The gas passes through four of these elements (that is why you need four).
The glass fiber catches the oil mist. The oil drips down and collects at the bottom of the filter.
Clean, oil-free air leaves the filter.
The MF300 is very efficient. It catches 99.999% of oil mist in DOP tests . That means almost no oil gets past it.
