This centring ring has two special features that set it apart from standard options:

1. Polymer Support Ring: Unlike stainless steel centring rings, this one uses a high-tech polymer support ring . Polymer is lightweight and offers excellent chemical resistance. It is also non-magnetic and has a very low outgassing rate of 6.6 × 10⁻⁸ mbar l s⁻¹ cm⁻² .

2. Viton® (Fluoroelastomer) O-Ring: The “V” in the product name stands for Viton. Viton is a high-performance rubber . It offers:

   • Excellent heat resistance: Up to 200°C (400°F) 

   • Superior chemical resistance: Stands up to aggressive fuels and chemicals that would damage standard rubber 

   • Very low outgassing rate: Especially after baking
