The Edwards Sight Glass (Part #A29201010) is a direct replacement oil level window for many Edwards vacuum pumps. It fits E2M, RV, E1M, ED, EMF, and EH series pumps. This small round window lets you see the oil level and oil condition at a glance. No guessing. No opening the pump. If your sight glass is cracked, cloudy, or leaking, replace it right away.

SIGHT GLASS
A sight glass is a small round window on the side of your pump . It lets you look inside the oil reservoir. You can check two important things:
The oil level – Is the oil between the MAX and MIN marks? Too little oil will destroy your pump. Too much oil can cause problems too.
The oil condition – Clean oil means your pump is healthy. Dirty oil means it is time for a change.
Checking the sight glass takes only a few seconds. But those few seconds can save you from a very expensive repair.
