This is a 25g tube of Apiezon® L Grease . It is a specialty, ultra-high vacuum (UHV) grease with an extremely low vapor pressure of 7 x 10⁻¹¹ Torr at 20°C . This makes it the standard choice for sealing ground glass joints, stopcocks, and fittings where silicone contamination is a concern .

      This is specifically a room-temperature grease. Its dropping point is around 47°C (approx 117°F) . It is designed to work best between 10°C and 30°C (50°F – 86°F) . If your application involves high heat, you need a different grease (like Apiezon H or AP101) . But for standard lab work, it is perfect.
