This is an OEM replacement Cooling Fan for Edwards RV series rotary vane pumps. It is made of 30% glass fiber reinforced Nylon6 in black. This fan is mounted on the motor shaft and is responsible for pulling cooling air over the motor to prevent overheating . It is a direct replacement for the original fan on RV3, RV5, RV8, and RV12 models.

      The Edwards RV series pumps are air-cooled. They rely on a fan attached to the motor to pull air over the cooling fins . If that fan is damaged, cracked, or missing, the pump will overheat. This triggers the thermal overload switch and shuts the pump down .
