This is an OEM replacement Gas Ballast Tube Assembly for Edwards E1M and E2M series rotary vane pumps. This assembly includes the metal tube that connects the gas ballast inlet port to the pump housing. It directs the flow of air or inert gas into the low vacuum stage of the pump to prevent condensation of vapors .

These pumps have a water vapor handling capability of up to 1.7 kg per hour (E1M80) and 0.3 kg per hour (E2M80) .
