This is a Edwards replacement O-ring. The part number is 085-031-425. It has an inner diameter of 1 3/4 inches and an outer diameter of 2 inches. The cross-section (thickness) of this O-ring is 1/8 inch (0.139 inches) . This is a standard AS568-219 size O-ring . It is used in various Edwards vacuum pumps for sealing static and dynamic applications . If you are rebuilding your pump, this is the correct OEM replacement part.

An O-ring is a simple but very important part. It is a ring of flexible rubber. You put it in a groove between two metal parts. When you bolt the parts together, the O-ring gets squeezed.
