It is a critical drive component used in the RV3, RV5, RV8, and RV12 rotary vane pumps to transmit torque between the motor and the pump’s internal rotors . The “H V/LV” designation indicates it is the coupling used between the High Vacuum (HV) and Low Vacuum (LV) stages. If you are rebuilding your RV pump, this is the correct OEM replacement part .
