Becker U Series pump is an oil-lubricated pump. It uses oil to seal and cool the inside parts. That oil is great for the pump. But when the pump pushes out air, it can push out tiny oil mist too. This Exhaust Filter stops that oil mist. It is an oil separator. It catches the oil before it leaves the pump. The clean air goes out. The oil stays inside.
