This O-ring is made for specific large Busch R5 pumps. Before you buy, check your pump model. This ring fits the following models :

• Busch R5 1000B

• Busch R5 1600B

  This 55 x 3 mm O-ring is a key part of larger repair kits. If you are doing a full rebuild on your big pump, you will find this ring inside :

  • Gasket Kit BGK011 (for 1000B and 1600B pumps) – Includes 2 pieces of this O-ring

  Each kit contains two of these O-rings. They are used to seal specific ports or covers inside your pump.

  Not all rubber is the same. Different rubbers are good for different jobs. This O-ring is made from Buna (also called Nitrile or NBR). Here is why Buna is a smart choice for this seal:

  • Excellent oil resistance: Buna is the best choice for sealing petroleum-based oils and fuels . Your large vacuum pump is full of oil. This ring will not swell or break down.

  • Good abrasion resistance: Buna is tough. It resists wear and tear from moving parts and pressure.

  • Affordable: Buna costs less than speciality rubbers like Viton. For standard oil sealing jobs, it works great and saves you money.

  • Good temperature range: Buna works well from -40°C up to 107°C (-40°F to 225°F). This covers most normal pump operating temperatures.
