This is a replacement Clamp Plate for Edwards vacuum pumps and related equipment. It cross-references to Edwards OEM number E0170. This plate is used to clamp components in place, such as heaters or other assemblies.

CLAMP PLATE
Clamp plates are made of strong metal. They usually last a long time. But sometimes you need a replacement:
The plate is bent or warped
The plate is cracked
The holes where the bolts go are worn or stripped
You lost the plate during disassembly
You are doing a full rebuild and want all new parts
If a clamp plate is damaged, it will not hold parts tightly. Heaters will not make good contact. The system will not work right.
