The COUPLING HUB RV PK1 is a genuine metal replacement part made for Edwards RV series rotary vane pumps. It fits RV3, RV5, RV8, and RV12 models . This hub is one of the metal pieces that attaches to the pump shaft. It works together with the rubber spider (coupling element) to connect the motor to the pump . If your RV pump is noisy or the coupling feels loose, this hub may be worn out. Replace it to get your pump running smooth again.

The coupling hub is the anchor for the whole drive system. When the motor spins, it turns the motor hub. The motor hub pushes the rubber spider. The rubber spider pushes this coupling hub. And this hub turns the pump shaft.
Without a good coupling hub, nothing works. The motor might spin, but the pump will not turn.
