This is a direct replacement low vacuum head plate for Edwards GV series dry vacuum pumps. The “LV” stands for Low Vacuum side. The “CHEMICAL” designation means this part is built for chemical or corrosive applications. If you are servicing a GV pump used with aggressive gases, this is the correct head plate.
