The DUO 6 is a compact two-stage rotary vane pump . It is designed to save space while delivering strong performance . It has a pumping speed of about 5 to 6 m³/h . This pump is used in many applications like backing turbomolecular pumps, vacuum drying, and insulating vacuum . It is popular in research labs and industrial settings because it is reliable and easy to integrate .
There is also a version called the DUO 6M that uses a magnetic coupling. That design means no shaft seal leaks. If you have that version, you would need a different overhaul kit (Part# PMK010M)
