In EH2600 and EH4200 booster pumps, the timing gears are critical components. They synchronize the rotation of the twin Roots lobes inside the pump . This synchronization ensures that the two lobes rotate in precise opposition to each other without touching. Proper timing is essential for:

• Achieving high pumping speeds (up to 3110 m³/h at 60 Hz on the EH2600) 

• Maintaining the small, accurate clearance between the rotors

• Preventing rotor contact and pump damage

• Ensuring efficient vacuum performance

These gears are lubricated by oil inside the gear cover . On the EH2600 and EH4200 models, the gear cover has its own oil reservoir with a sight glass to check the oil level
