The rotor is the part that spins inside the pump cylinder. It has slots that hold the vanes. As the rotor turns, the vanes slide in and out. They trap gas and push it through the pump.
The HV stage rotor does the first pull from your vacuum chamber. It handles gas at very low pressure. This is the most demanding job in the pump. this rotor directly affects your pump’s ultimate vacuum level.
