This is an air intake filter (Part # 1801015). It is designed and manufactured by DVP for use on their pump models .
This filter fits on the inlet side of your pump. As air gets pulled into the pump, this filter catches any dust, dirt, or debris. Only clean air passes through to the inside of your pump.
