The MF30 has a strong cast aluminum body . Inside, there are two filter elements that work together .

Step 1 – Catching the oil. The exhaust gas enters the filter and passes through a special oil filter element. This element is made from epoxy impregnated glass fiber . It acts like a very fine net. It catches tiny oil droplets. The oil then drips down and collects in the bottom of the filter. You can see how much oil has been collected through the sight panel on the side of the filter . When it gets full, you just open the drain plug at the bottom and let the oil out .

Step 2 – Killing the smell. After the air passes through the oil filter, it goes through an odor element. This absorbs any remaining oil vapor and odors . So the air that finally leaves the filter is clean and smells like nothing.
