The COUPLING BAFFLE EH500 is a replacement part made for the Edwards EH500 Mechanical Booster Pump. It sits inside the coupling-cover assembly. Its main job is to manage oil flow and reduce oil mist escaping from the gearbox area. This simple part helps keep your pump clean and running smoothly for longer.

This baffle fits inside the coupling-cover of the EH500 pump . The coupling-cover is the housing that connects the pump to its drive system. It also holds oil to lubricate the gears and bearings.
Replace the baffle whenever you open up the coupling-cover for maintenance. Also replace it if you notice:
Oil leaking from the coupling-cover area.
More oil mist than normal coming from the pump.
The pump seems noisier when running.
