Edwards Bearing, Part# 20404012

This is not a ball bearing. It is a cylindrical roller bearing. Instead of little balls, it uses long, skinny rollers. The rollers look like tiny cylinders. That is where the name comes from.

Cylindrical roller bearings are different from ball bearings. Here is why:

• Larger contact area – The rollers touch the outer surface over a bigger area

• Heavy load capacity – They can support much heavier loads than ball bearings

• Low profile – They have a low sectional height, so they do not take up much space

Made for E1M80 and E2M80 Pumps

This bearing is used on two Edwards pump models :

• E1M80 – Single-stage rotary vane pump

• E2M80 – Two-stage rotary vane pump

Both pumps are oil-sealed rotary vane vacuum pumps. They are workhorses in industrial and laboratory applications.
