The cooling coil is a metal tube. Water flows through it. The water absorbs heat from the pump motor and internal components.
The cooling coil does two important jobs.
1. It prevents overheating. The iH80 pump generates a lot of heat during operation. The cooling coil carries that heat away. Without proper cooling, the pump could overheat and fail.
2. It protects the motor. The iH80 motor is water-cooled, not fan-cooled . The cooling coil ensures the motor stays at the right temperature. This extends the life of the motor.
