This is an OEM replacement Flexible Coupling Element (often called a “spider”) for Edwards E1M and E2M series rotary vane pumps .This rubber component is the heart of the pump’s Lovejoy-type coupling. It sits between the motor hub and the pump hub .

      Inside your pump, the motor connects to the pump mechanism through a coupling. This coupling has three parts:

      1. Motor Hub: Attached to the motor shaft.

      2. Pump Hub: Attached to the pump shaft.

      3. Flexible Coupling Element (Spider): The rubber piece that sits between the two hubs .

      The spider has a star shape. It fits into slots on both hubs .
