Major Repair Kit with GX Vanes – Busch 1000B

The 1000B is a single-stage pump. It uses three vanes in the pumping chamber. That is what this kit includes.

The Seals – Shaft Seals (4 pieces)
These stop oil from leaking out where the pump shaft comes out. All four are made of Viton rubber. Viton handles high heat and chemicals very well. The 1000B uses four shaft seals because it is a large pump.

The Bearings and Sleeves

• Needle Bearings (2 pieces) – these keep your pump spinning smoothly

• Shaft Seal Sleeves (2 pieces, part# 47201300) – these protect the shaft where the seals ride 

The Gaskets (10+ pieces)
We include a full set of gaskets for the 1000B pump:

• Cylinder/exhaust box gasket (part# 48013200) – seals the main pumping chamber 

• Exhaust box cover gasket (part# 48013100)

• Side cover plate gasket (part# 48013400)

• Oil sight glass gasket (part# 48023100)

• Oil fill plug gasket (part# 48210600)

• Float valve cover gasket (part# 481532126)

• Float valve gasket (part# 481529712)

• Various ring gaskets (part# 48403400, 48404000, 48406200, 48202300) 

• Copper ring gasket (part# 48402900) – copper seals very well under pressure

The O-rings (25+ pieces in different materials)

Viton O-rings (high heat resistance):

• 35 x 4 mm (multiple pieces, part# 48651200) – most common size in this kit

• 25 x 2 mm (part# 48656100)

• 22 x 2 mm (part# 48650500)

• 140 x 5 mm (part# 48656700)

• 310 x 5 mm (part# 48610400) – Buna material, excellent for oil resistance 

Silicone O-ring cord:

• 330 mm long silicone cord (part# 48206600-330MM) – you cut this to the exact length you need. Silicone handles high temperatures very well 

The Oil System Components

• Oil sight glass and sight glass assembly – lets you see oil level and condition

• Oil drain plug (part# 710000010) – nylon, 1/2 inch. Old plugs can crack and leak
