The Edwards SP25K is a manual inline isolation valve for your vacuum system. This version comes with a Nitrile (NBR / Buna-N) rubber diaphragm. It’s a rugged and simple valve. The turning mechanism is kept away from the vacuum by the diaphragm.

This is a manual valve for your vacuum line. You just turn a knob to open or close it. The Edwards SP25K is a diaphragm valve. Inside, a flexible rubber disc (the diaphragm) presses down onto a smooth metal seat to seal the line.
This version is a great choice for general vacuum work because:
It resists oils and greases very well
It is tough and durable for everyday use
It is a cost-effective choice
You can also buy this valve with an FKM (Viton) rubber diaphragm (part number C33355000). FKM is better for high temperatures and harsh chemicals. But for most everyday lab and industrial work, the Nitrile version is the smart, reliable choice
