This is the Edwards part. The number is 424-338-002. It is made to fit exactly right. You do not have to cut it or trim it. A housing cover is like a lid on a box. It covers the inside parts of your vacuum pump or blower. The gasket is the soft seal that sits between the lid and the box. It fills the tiny gaps so air cannot get in or out.
