This is the official Edwards Sightglass Gasket. Part number 426-109-002. It sits behind the sightglass (the small glass window) on your pump. If your oil level window is leaking, this gasket is the fix. It is a small part, but it stops messy oil drips.

Look at the side of your vacuum pump. You will see a small glass window. That is the sightglass. It lets you see the oil level inside the pump. You need to check this often to make sure your pump has enough oil.It is easy to fix. You just replace the gasket. Take out the old, hard gasket. Clean the area. Put this new 426-109-002 gasket in place. Put the sightglass back. Tighten it gently. Do not over-tighten or you might crack the glass.
